Chal Rickshaw! — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-06-11
Chal Rickshaw! is a single-player arcade game from Maximum Impact Studio. This policy explains what data the game and the third-party services it uses may collect, and how that data is handled.
TL;DR
- No account. There’s nothing to sign up for or log in to, and we never ask for your name, email, phone number, or contacts.
- No game backend of our own. We don’t run a server that stores your data.
- The game uses a small number of standard third-party services for crash reporting, anonymous analytics, and advertising. These collect limited, largely anonymous technical and usage data to keep the game stable, understand how it’s played, and show ads. Details below.
- We do not sell your personal data.
What data is collected, and by whom
Chal Rickshaw! itself stores your game progress (high score, settings) locally on your device. That local data is not sent to us.
To keep the game running well and free to play, the app integrates standard third-party SDKs. Depending on the build and your settings, these may collect:
| Purpose | Data typically collected | Who collects / processes it |
|---|---|---|
| Crash reporting | Crash logs, device model, OS version, app version, and diagnostic state at the time of a crash | A crash-reporting provider (e.g. Firebase Crashlytics / Sentry) |
| Analytics | Anonymous/aggregated usage events (e.g. rounds played, screens viewed, session length), approximate region, device type, OS version | An analytics provider (e.g. Google/Firebase Analytics) |
| Advertising | Advertising identifier, IP address, approximate (coarse) location, device/ad interaction data used to select and measure ads | The ad network and its partners (e.g. Google AdMob) |
This data is generally not used to personally identify you. We use it in aggregate to fix bugs, improve the game, and support the free-to-play model through ads. We do not combine it to build a personal profile of you, and we do not sell it.
Each provider processes the data it collects under its own privacy policy. Where required, you can opt out of personalized advertising via your device settings (see “Your choices” below).
Advertising
Chal Rickshaw! may show ads (for example, banner or rewarded-video ads) provided by a third-party ad network such as Google AdMob. Ad networks may use your device’s advertising identifier and related data to select and measure ads. You can limit ad personalization in your device settings:
- Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads (reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization).
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising.
See the ad network’s policy (for AdMob, part of Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites/apps that use its services).
App store platforms
If you installed the app through Google Play or Apple TestFlight/App Store, those platforms collect their own diagnostic and installation data under their policies — see Google Play’s Privacy Policy and Apple’s Privacy Policy. That data goes to Google/Apple, not to us.
Children’s privacy
Chal Rickshaw! is not directed at children under 13. Because the game can serve ads and use analytics, it is intended for a general (teen and older) audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will address it.
Your choices
- Limit ad tracking / reset advertising ID in your device settings (see “Advertising” above).
- Uninstall the app to stop all further data collection by the app and its SDKs.
- Contact us with any privacy request at the address below.
Data retention & security
Third-party providers retain the data they collect according to their own retention policies. Crash and analytics data is used to maintain and improve the game and is not kept longer than needed for those purposes by us (we generally only ever see it in aggregate). All transmission to these services uses standard encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections.
Changes to this policy
If our data practices change, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above and describe what changed. Material changes (for example, adding a new category of data collection) will be reflected here before the corresponding app update ships.
